On March 12th, the medical team at Yellowblue Force Foundation handed over essential surgical instruments to the ENT department of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Clinical Hospital. These instruments are crucial for performing 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐤 for both military and civilian patients affected by the Russian war against Ukraine.

Since 2022, Dr. Nataliya Komashko has been providing medical assistance to such severely wounded patients at the hospital. With the support of the surgical instruments provided by our foundation, Dr. Komashko and her colleagues will extend their aid to even more patients, helping them on their journey to recovery and social reintegration.
“We are immensely grateful to YellowBlue Force Foundation for the incredible gift to our ENT department in the form of high-quality medical devices from KARL STORZ (Germany). Our work is simply impossible without modern and quality equipment. With these tools now available in our department, we are ready to assist even more efficiently and effectively! You are making a significant difference! Thank you, Yellowblue Force!” – expressed by Dr. Nataliya Komashko.
On our part, we express deep gratitude to the Pfizer Foundation for their financial support of this initiative (implemented in collaboration with the Leleka Foundation). “The support from donor has allowed us to initiate new directions of our medical team’s work, including providing hospitals with essential instruments and supporting facial and head reconstruction surgeries” said Iryna Tomylko, the leader of the Foundation’s medical team. “Head and face reconstruction plays a pivotal role in facilitating the social reintegration of individuals who have experienced severe war-related injuries. Beyond its immediate medical benefits, such surgery holds immense significance in helping patients reintegrate into society after traumatic experiences. By addressing visible injuries and restoring facial features, these procedures not only enhance physical well-being but also contribute significantly to individuals’ confidence and social interactions. Ultimately, the goal is to empower patients to reintegrate seamlessly into their communities, leading fulfilling lives post-recovery.”

Together, we are saving lives and making a lasting impact. 💙💛
