Thrilled to share that Yuliya Danyshchuk, leader of the YBF`s project “Light for Hospitals”, yesterday attended the workshop “Solar Power for Improve Resilience of Water and Health Services within Ukraine”.
The workshop proved to be exceptionally productive and engaging! Yuliya passionately shared YBF’s success stories, achieved through collaborative efforts with the NGO “Ekoclub” Amongst like-minded peers, they delved into the challenges faced by international organizations when supporting Ukrainian communities in the realm of renewable energy. An invaluable exchange of insights occurred, featuring candid feedback from esteemed organizations such as IOM, UNICEF, and GIZ Ukraine.
Discussions also centered around future collaborative ventures, specifically the implementation of solar power plant projects within medical institutions, with the active involvement of urban community representatives. Insightful updates were provided by Mayor Oleksandr Kodola of Nizhyn on the recently concluded tender results and Deputy Mayor Vitaly Lukov of Mykolaiv on the signing of a memorandum for ongoing cooperation.
