The specially equipped ambulance will play a crucial role in transporting newborns from conflict zones and providing life-saving treatment in extreme conditions. It will serve critically ill pregnant women and their newborns, including those with congenital heart defects, renal issues, premature births, endocrine, oncological, and other severe conditions.
YellowBlue Force Foundation and the Kharkiv Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine extend their heartfelt gratitude to Viterra Ukraine and Viterra B.V. (the Netherlands) for their generous support. As noted by the Center’s Director, Viktor Zabashta: “On behalf of myself and the Kharkiv Regional Center, I express my deep gratitude for this wonderful gift. It will be of great use to us. The Center serves several perinatal centers, and due to the ongoing military aggression, logistics in the region are disrupted. This vehicle will provide significant assistance to patients, especially for inter-regional transfers. Thank you!”
We are also excited to share that this project will continue with the support of Viterra Ukraine and Viterra B.V. (the Netherlands). A neonatal intensive care ambulance is currently being prepared for the City Emergency Medical Hospital in Kropyvnytskyi. This is particularly vital as many women and children have sought refuge in the Kropyvnytskyi region due to the ongoing war. The hospital handles over 2000 births annually, with approximately 200 infants requiring intensive care. This ambulance will ensure these vulnerable newborns receive the urgent, comprehensive medical care they need.
