The Chortkiv Central City Hospital installed a solar power plant with a capacity of 50 kW.
More than 200,000 patients visit this hospital during the year.
Given the conditions of daily shelling and attacks by Russia on the energy system of Ukraine, ensuring the stable work of medical institutions during emergencies – one of the priorities of the Ministry of Health.
The installed power plant operates together with the batteries that accumulate electricity produced, therefore, this will guarantee the institution greater energy independence if electricity is switched off.
The cost of a power plant with batteries is over two million hryvnias. The project within the framework of the Light for Hospital has embodied the Yellowblue Force Foundation Charitable Foundation, with the coordination of the Ministry of Health and with the financial support of CITI Ukraine. The installation of the power plant was accompanied by  Ecoclub.

We are grateful to all partners for their help and effective cooperation.
