Makariv community needs your help now

On February 24, 2022, russia launched a large-scale unprovoked aggression and invasion of Ukraine, escalating the conflict active since 2014. It led to the largest humanitarian crisis in Europe since World War II. Over 450 towns and villages in Kyiv, Chernihiv and Zhytomyr regions (central part of Ukraine) now are liberated from russian occupation.

Each community faced a different scale of damage. However, restoration of the basic social infrastructure is the ultimate priority for all communities as the population returns back to their homes. We work directly with the leadership of the liberated local communities to identify and verify their highest priority basic needs before the big restoration will take place.

After one month of the russian occupation, the territorial community of Makariv in Kyiv region is the one of the most damaged communities. Russian invaders occupied the community on their way from Chornobyl area to the capital city of Kyiv.

Makariv community needs support with top social projects for its returning people.
